Bill has been a full time musician and entertainer.  In addition to being a songwriter and producer, he is also an accomplished instrumentalist, playing the guitar, piano, bass guitar, drums and harmonica.  Bill has been honored with numerous awards in Branson, MO including Best Gospel Cd of the year, Best Vocal Impressionist of the year, Best Horizon Show of the year.  Bill has been inducted into the Nebraska and South Dakota Country Music Hall of Fame.  He is also a member of the Nashville Songwriters Association.

Bill's father was a Police Officer in Lincoln, Ne for 23 years, 16 of those years Sgt. Warren Chrastil rode a motorcycle.  Bill's junior year in high school he decided to skip a couple of classes and went for a little ride in his car only to be caught by his dad, "Sgt. Warren Chrastil" getting a police escort back to school was not fun and Bill never skipped school again.  Bill's father also served in the United States Air Force and being taught the meaning of respect and honor Bill pays tribute to our Police Officers, Firemen, First Responders, Veterans and Current Men and Women who are serving in our United States Military.

When Bill is not touring, he spends time performing at assisted living, care centers and retirement communities. Many residents are not able to travel for entertainment, so Bill brings his award-winning show to them.

"It is a rare person who can take care of business while taking care of the heart."
